These are a few of my favorite things…

From a delicious scent, a picturesque view, to a rainy day, the month of December, a Hallmark movie, a perfectly baked cake, and glitter. As you can see, I’m easily pleased with the small things in life. But, aren’t those the best thing?

This will be the spot to get inspired by all the wonderful things in this world! Ever changing, because there are always more to discover.

The scent of the season

The holiday season is upon us and candles are essential. My favorite candle of all time comes out just once a year. It’s the Capri Blue Fir and Firewood candle that’s sold at Anthropology. Yes, they are pricey for a candle. The large is $32. But, the smell…Oh my gosh so good!

I do have to admit, that I only buy one a year. Usually if I’m running errands I’ll pick up the Pine Wonderland or Apple Vanilla Cinnamon candle by Glade. Their only $3 and the smell illuminates the entire home.

I always tell friends and family, the key to my heart is a nice candle!

A must have legging

Lulu Lemon Align Crop Legging

There is no better legging than the Lulu Lemon Align Legging. They are the softest and most comfortable legging you will ever wear. They are a dream legging for the gym and for everyday life. I’ve never met one person who has a negative thing to say about the ‘Align’ legging. They run true to size and come in so many colors. But, I only buy black. Anyone who knows me, knows I live in all black everything. Don’t be put off by the price tag. They are worth the money. I rarely make that claim. Quick tip- don’t dry them in the dryer.

One Starry Christmas- Best Hallmark Movie

I am not ashamed, I LOVE Hallmark. I love Hallmark Holiday movies even more! I’m pretty sure I have seen every Hallmark Holiday movie for the last 6 years. I’ve always been a hopeless romantic. I always invisioned one day having my own Hallmark love story happening to me. For another blog post, that actually did happen! Manifestation 🙂 Any who, this particular movie was so sweet and was based all on wishes coming true.

The Story: Aspiring astronomy professor and Christmas enthusiast Holly is crushed when her longtime boyfriend Adam schedules a business trip and leaves her alone over the holidays. When she decides to surprise both Adam and her parents with a Christmas visit, fate, or perhaps the Christmas spirit, intervenes. Holly’s bumpy holiday travel makes a turn onto the road to romance when she and her bus companion, Luke, forge an instant connection over their love of constellations and Christmas. In the spirit of the season, Holly invites Luke to join her family for Christmas, which instantly creates a competition between Luke and Adam for Holly’s attention. As sparks fly like shooting stars between Holly and Luke, will Holly decide to play it safe and stay with Adam or to thank her lucky stars for the Christmas gift of romance with Luke?

Luscious Lashes

This product is not only a game changer, but a life saver. About 6 months ago I stopped getting lash extensions. I loved them, but my bank account didn’t. I spen the $65 dollars hoping the GrandeLash Serum would help my lack luster lashes. In 3 weeks…I kid you not, my lashes were better than before I started getting lash extensions. They thicker and LONG. I honestly was shocked and immediately got my mom hooked!

Blueberry Muffins

The morning time is my absolute favorite time of the day. The first thing I do when I wake up is have my cup of coffee. I’ve been making it a ritual on Sundays to bake my famous Blueberry Muffins. Not only do they taste delicious, but they are a healthy treat to start theContinue reading “Blueberry Muffins”

Book of the Month

There is nothing better then curling up under a cozy blanket on the couch and reading a good book. Sometimes life can be crazy, hectic, stressful and simply overwhelming. Reading has always been an escape for me. It’s calming. It puts me at ease. It takes me someplace quiet; away from the noise of dailyContinue reading “Book of the Month”
